Chiropractor in Louisville : Dr. N. Brett Zemba

I remember the day that chiropractic was "truly" explained to me.

From that day on I knew that I would be involved in chiropractic the rest of my life.

Initially I entered college as a electrical engineering student. But once calc III and differential equations came onto the scene, I knew a different path was necessary. I actually took a semester off from school to get things figured out. My uncle practiced Atlas Orthogonal here in Louisville and so I started to visit him to understand what it was like day to day in the clinic. Patients seemed very happy in the office, but what was even more exciting was that my uncle seemed very happy. He was not just showing up...he had an amazing passion for the work.

Chiropractic Education

I chose Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA for my education. This is where chiropractic began in 1895. The location was convenient since Iowa is where I grew up, but beyond that Palmer is the fountainhead for the profession. You can actually feel the history of chiropractic walking around campus. All of my upper cervical training was through Dr. Roy Sweat. He is the founder of the Atlas Orthogonal work and Dr. Sweat had actually studied under the developer of chiropractic, Dr. B.J. Palmer.

Get the right information on chiropractic before you decide

I understand that not everyone will choose to embrace chiropractic in their lives. This is fine with me. What's not fine is that most are making decisions based upon false information. I've only met a small group of people that truly understand the intent of chiropractic. My mission is education on this true intent. Then people can make a decision based upon truth. Atlas Orthogonal is one of the most effective and powerful healing modalities on the planet.

The Team at LSC Asks some important questions of interest to Louisville residents - Chiropractor Louisville The Team at LSC Asks...

Why are frequent visits advised when starting chiropractic care?
Consistent visits at the beginning of your chiropractic care help create the momentum necessary to correct and retrain unhealthy spinal patterns. Later, Louisville patients find that continued care on a less frequent visit schedule can help preserve their progress and avoid a relapse.
Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our Louisville chiropractic practice.
